Installation Limitations

• Minimum approved installation pitch: 38 in.
  

• At 38 in pitch, the seat maintains the required 6 in minimum row-to-row clearance under the maximum seat deformation defined in AC 25.562-1B.
  

• To satisfy HIC < 1000 and Femur Load < 2,250 lb without occupant contact with the seat ahead, a minimum 61 in pitch is required in accordance with FAA Memorandum TAD-96-002 and AC 25.562-1B.
  

• The 61 in limitation applies only to aircraft required to comply with 14 CFR 25.562(c)(5) and (6). It does not apply to aircraft with a certification basis that does not require these occupant injury criteria.
